The car is ready for engineering inspection. Over a period of a little more than a year all essential parts of the car are now working. It is a pleasure to drive the car. Many test drives around the block were completed.
The outcome was that it did not pass some safety criteria.
Good
1. Weight balance
2. Motor assembly
3. Retained ABS. Tested on slippery dirt road successful
4. Speedo replacement (fixed permanent)
To improve
1. Dashboard cluster replacement to revert back to original
2. More cover and safety under the car to protect the motor and high voltage cables
3. Reverse light
4. Beam light (blue) indicator
5. Proof airbag warning light is working
6. OBD2 reading by reconnecting 80+ wires that used to connect to old engine, EPROM, etc
7. Fibre cover under hood to be able to close
8. More metal clips instead of plastic ty rips i.e. on gear shifter connection
