Now several parts are still missing. For the power steering an electric pump can be used. So with Kai we found a pump at the wreckers. Also today planning and measurements. The battery rack and mounts are prepared. The other essential part is the motor controller. The Curtus 96V 550 Amp controller is sensitive for overheating and needs a cooling solution. Because the part is with the motor the second most expensive - cost varies between 3,000 - 20,000 AUD - it is smart to keep it cool. So for this car we found an aluminum cooling element from a broken air-conditioner.
Again a brilliant day. Always sunny so far. It even starts getting too hot while working on the car.
